My name is Nurit Guy and my motto in life is "think positive, be positive". Believe it or not –it works. Optimism wins every time.
A little bit about me: I grew up in Kibbutz Solelim in Northern Israel. After moving from Carmiel to Nahalal to Kibbutz Sde Boker, I finally settled in Midreshet Ben Gurion with my husband and children.
My formal training is as a practical engineer in architecture and interior design, but over the years I have made a point of doing mostly what makes me happy – and doing it professionally and wholeheartedly: managing a swimming pool, teaching computers to adults, building and running a guest cottage, event production, social media management and more…
Learning is a way of life for me, and while I have learned many things on my own, I have also participated in various courses. My friends say that I'm like the Energizer Bunny – I never stop working, thinking or moving – and I admit that they are right. I love coming up with new ideas and developing existing ones, and am always on the go.
A few years ago, two partners and I established "Negev Berama Acheret", a production company that specializes in event production and tours in the Negev. We set out to be the Negev's leading production company, and are steadily on the path to achieving that goal.
As a small business owner with a guest cottage, along with my work as an event producer, I view social media management as a place where my professional interests and activities meet. With growing needs for marketing, I came to notice a lack in professionals that can effectively market my businesses and events to target audiences through social media. This understanding helped me realize that social media management is not only in my own skill set, but also is something in which I excel.
